Following postgraduate studies at University, Keyur spent the first half of his career in International Finance and Mobile Telecommunication in various roles.
Keyur then moved into the care sector 15 years ago, taking on management of a 40-bed care home in Bedford Borough (operating since 1958).
The Care Home sector is fragmented and is up against many challenges year on year (including ongoing issues such as funding and staffing). The Care Sector however has a vital role within each ICS, each county, and community, as well as being a key support structure for Local Authorities and Hospitals.
Keyur’s continued ambition is to support the care sector in gaining prominence and support within Government, advocating for significant improvement in collaboration between Health and Social Care as well as better support, clarity, and understanding from regulatory bodies.
