Claire has been with the Bedfordshire Care Group team for a year and has been central to the group’s development and expansion over the last 12 months. She leads on staff recruitment, partnerships, business development and membership growth & retention. Claire’s background has been varied, from facility management, physical activity & health development and more latterly the social care sector as a consultant, working with local authorities and now the care association.
Claire’s passion is partnership working and providing advocacy on behalf of a sector facing unprecedented challenge.
Helen is our Project Manager at Bedfordshire Care Group and has been with the company since January 2018 and was pivotal in setting up the Trusted Assessor Scheme within our acute trusts. Helen is our clinical lead and is a key member of local, regional and national partnerships, working in support of the social care sector.
Helen is a qualified nurse and has worked in many different settings including NHS, Community, private and social care. She is also a qualified teacher and health & wellbeing coach, skills that are vital to support our providers to achieve their potential.
Claire is our Care Network Project Support Officer at Bedfordshire Care Group, managing the Trusted Assessor team at Bedford Hospital Trust and providing support to providers across the borough and delivering essential training to care staff.
With over 15 years of experience in the care sector Claire has worked with individuals living with learning disabilities, dementia, mental health challenges, and physical disabilities. She is passionate about advocating for those who need a voice and helping people live meaningful, valued lives. Claire is Level 5 qualified as an Assistant Practitioners in Healthcare.
Jo is our Care Network Project Support Officer for the Central Bedfordshire locality, managing the Trusted Assessor team at Luton & Dunstable Hospital, providing essential support to care providers in the Central Bedfordshire area. Jo is dedicated to delivering training to care staff and actively participates in projects funded by BLMK ICB and Central Bedfordshire Council, all aimed at improving the lives of service users in care homes and home care agencies.
With 30 years of experience as a qualified nurse, Jo has a diverse background that spans both acute NHS trusts and 18 years in the private sector.
Throughout her career, Jo has always placed patients, residents, and service users at the heart of her work, advocating for their needs while also championing the interests of care providers. She believes in fostering collaboration between acute hospitals and community services to achieve the best outcomes for those in care.
Terry has been with Bedfordshire Care Group since 2020 and brings over 35 years of experience in the health and social care sector, having had a variety of roles in local authorities and charities.
Terry has a detailed knowledge of current information management technologies and their application from both development and support perspectives. I have a strong interest in data analysis and reporting and use these skills to help evaluate the impact of projects and programmes.
Terry leads several programmes including the robopet, whzan blue box projects, acoustic monitoring and the roll our of the digital social care records and NHSMail.
Terry holds a BA (Hons), NVQ 7 in Management and Prince II Practitioner.
